NM/CO trip first day - made it to Jackson, Mississippi

packed in & ready to go

We got a 'top pack' for the car to free up space inside.  It's got the tent & all the sleeping gear inside.

Fell asleep reading.

This was a last minute project idea - since we are traveling with no electronic sources of entertainment - Levi likes to sew.  We grabbed colored thread, heavy natural muslin, and embroidery hoop.  I'm so glad we did - it occupied several hours in the car today.
