Hostel in the Forest
We got away this past weekend to the Hostel in the Forest - a traveler's hostel in Brunswick, Ga - it's been around since the '70s - it's very eco friendly: composting toilets, dome houses, free range chicken, & gardens - we had a good time exploring & Levi loved feeding the chickens - unfortunately, Levi & I picked up a stomach bug (food poisoning?) while there & fled home Sunday morn to recuperate - three days later we're still trying to shake it - Some pics from our trip

I can see why you said it was a "hippie" kind of place. Maybe you can venture back sometime when you are feeling better and by yourselves.
That looks like such a fun place! I wish I were as adventurous as you are (minus the stomach bug).
