our first try growing daikons

Daikon!  which are asian radish - they look like a long white carrot
Angie shared the seed last year & we had great success.  We're eating them in salads, stir-fries, and soups.  Many of them have gone to seed, so now we'll collect those & plant a new spring patch.

You can add whatever you like to it. My roommate makes it with some of the dried mushrooms we can get here.
