We are thinking of Papa Bill (Joe's maternal grandfather) this morning. After being hospitalized Friday with severe abdominal pains, gall stones were found. Yesterday his gall bladder was removed & he'll be in ICU now for the next several days. In my mind Papa is a mix of songbirds, satsumas, camellias, and the south Georgia piney woods in which he has made his home for more than 8 decades.
